September2nd. Kendall , Eileen & Jason got out of the car. Jason said to Kendall:
" My love , Can I do anything to make things better for us? You know I'm so sorry & I wouldn't want to lose you. I love you Kendall , For two years I have , so much."
Kendall said :
" You're gonna have to do more than say sorry. You've got to tell Jens right when he gets here. You have to tell Kyla things are done. You better pray for a miracle if you want me back as your love , your girlfriend. got it.?"
Jason said:
" Anything for you. I just hope I don't loose You or Jens in my life."
Moments after Jens and Kyla pulled in. Jens got out of his car and went over to Jason.
Jason said :
" Jens , we need to talk. Over there. Alone."
Jens said:
" Woah , ok buddy , I think you're getting a little dramatic on me."
Jason and Jens went to talk.
Jens was furious screaming curse words and mean things to Jason.
like :
" WHY? how could you do this to me and Kendall? "
&
" What kind of so called " BEST FRIEND" are you? Going behind my back with MY GIRLFRIEND."
Kyla heard the whole thing , staring at them , not doing a thing.
Jens then screamed to Kyla:
" KYLA! come here! now!"
Jens asked Kyla if she did anything.
She lied. Jens didn't believe her.
She denied it again.
and so on.
They all went their seperate ways to class.
Jens and Kyla to math class.
Eileen & Kendall to science.
and Jason to english.
In Jens and Kyla's math class , Jens found a note scribbled in his book :
" Love The Way I Lie? "
He turned to Kyla , she had a evil smurk on her face.

September 1st. After Kendall had closed her locker she felt like her heart had been broken into millions of pieces. Eileen stood by her side as they walked out of school to Jason's car. Jason wasn't there. so she wrote a note and left it under the windshield wiper of the car saying :
" Jason ,
I'm walking home with Eileen because I'm going over her house to do some studying and thinking.
Love You ,
Kendall. "
Kendall & Eileen were about to start walking when Jens came up to Eileen. He asked " Hey Eileen , are you ok , I heard you were crying today and..."
Eileen answered " I'm a little better now , Thanks."
Jens gave Eileen a hug and then left to meet up w/ Kyla. Eileen let out a little giggle & Kendall laughed " Eileen , I know you like Jens , you can't hide it any longer from me."
Eileen said " Well , I do , but he's with little Miss Stuck up Kyla Dean and she rules the freaking town."
Kendall said " Well , you're right on that one..."
They laughed and talked & before you'd know it they arrived at Eileen's house.
Eileen's Mom Came to greet Eileen & Kendall.
She said " Well Hi Eileen & Kendall , It's so nice to see you around here Kendall , hows your family doing?"
Kendall replied " Better than ever Mrs.Butcher , thank you for asking."
Then Mrs. Butcher asked " Hows that boy Jason of yours?:"
Kendall lied " Oh just great , thanks for asking."
they chatted for a little and studied and had dinner.
Then Mrs.Butcher drove Kendall back to her house because it was dark out.
Once Kendall got home she ran up to her room,
Tossing and turning all night.
a question kept haunting her that she wanted to ask Jason :
" Cheater Cheater , where'd you meet her?"
that was the nightmare she had all night.
September 2nd. Hardly getting any sleep that night , she was as tired as anything. She got up early so Jason could pick her up for school. Once she got picked up She pulled the picture and note from her bag. Kendall asked " Cheater Cheater , where'd you meet her?
Jason answered
" Well we've all known her since we were 7 and met with her last summer."
Kendall asked tears starting in her eyes:
" Is that why you didn't go with me to my mother and baby sister's funeral ?" Is that the day you were " working out at the local gym?"
Jason answered :
" As stupid as this sounds , yes & yes. The girl was at the gym when I was , it was in the heat of the moment. I'm sosososo Sorry Kendall , I tried to end things with her yesterday morning , but then we did more stuff."
Kendall cried :
" So what Eileen saw was you making out with some girl. I knew it. * she shows him the note and pictures* I have PROOF Jason. The little tramp left it in my locker."
Jason was so guilt ridden he pulled over the car and told her who it was.
Kendall screamed:
KYLA!!!! it was KYLA DEAN!!!! YOUR BESTFRIEND"S GIRLFRIEND!!! THAT LITTLE B!!!!!!!!!
Jason tried to comfort Kendall but she wouldn't have any of it. She said through her clenched teeth:
Let's just pick up Eileen and go to school.
Jason picked up Eileen and they drove. The whole car ride was so silent everyones breathing could be heard.
Kendall said one thing to Jason before she got out and that was :
" YOU HAVE TO TELL JENS , OR I WILL!"

The Morning of September first , The Bell rang.
Everyone scrambling to class so Principal Marx will spare them detention. But Jason & Kyla were taking their good ol' time outside in the parking lot.
Eileen runs into the door of Mr.Box's Math class.
Kendall barely notices Eileen's entrance until Mr.Box stops writing on the board and says
" Well , Miss.Butcher , nice of you to come to my lovely class on time."
Eileen couldn't handle Mr.Box's sarcasm this morning.
Mr.Box continued " Miss.Butcher , care to explain your reason of tardiness to my class."
Eileen gasped for breath trying to gather herself.
she said
" well I was late because I was in the hall this morning talking with Kendall , and then I realized I forgot my math book and I went to Jason's care to get it and I - "
Mr.Box said " and you what miss.butcher , what did you do..... oh wait no one cares."
Eileen stomped to an empty seat in the middle row.
Kendall passed a note up saying :
" E , why are you crying."
Eileen scribbled quickly :
" I saw something I didn't want to see."
Kendall thought it was something funny :
" what like a three eyed deer? "
Eileen wrote :
" No......... Why don't you ask YOUR BOYFRIEND."
Kendall crumpled the note and held it in her hand
" ask YOUR BOYFRIEND"
the words repeated themselves in Kendall's head , what would her sweetheart Jason Aaron Wood , have to do with her bestfriend being upset.
During Kendall's free period , which she had with Jason , the thought came back. So she brought it up.
She asked
" J , did you know Eileen was crying this morning in my math class?"
He answered
" No , I haven't the slightest idea hon."
She said
" Well I thought you would've known because she went to you car this morning to get her math notebook."
He said
" I didn't see her , I guess she got it when I was in class already."
She said
" Well , uhm , can you read this and try to help me out , because I know E , and she doesn't cry for no reason."
She handed him the note and he read it.
Then Kendall asked.
" What did she see that she didn't want to see? hmm ? "
Jason snapped
" I don't know OK Ken! Just Stop bugging me about it. I don't know what's up w/ Eileen.! "
Kendall started sobbing and ran off.
She didn't talk to Jason for the rest of the day.
She ran into Eileen as she was sobbing in the hall.
Eileen asked " Ken , what's wrong girl?"
Kendall answered " Jason snapped at me because I asked him if he knew why u came to class crying and he claims he doesnt know and...."
Eileen said " Well ... Ken... He did see me and he knows why... hes lying to you sweetie."
Kendall & Eileen hugged.
Eileen said " I'm going to my locker to switch out books , do you wanna go to yours? "
Kendall agreed with her and she went to her lockers.
Kendall opened her locked and a note and 2 pictures fell out saying
" your boyfriend was great last summer."
and it had a picture of Jason and a girl with her face not showing at the gym and a picture of Jason with the girl on his car this morning at school.
Kendall looked over to Eileen and said
" I'm Looking For Signs. "

September 1st. 2 months after July 3. The Day Kendall Depalo's Mother & Baby Sister were killed.
Also , the first day of her Sophmore Year at
Twin Oaks High School.
As usual , the first day of school is hectic , because you don't wanna be late & you have to find a good parking spot , Since this is a small town , the High school parking lot is small , so Unless you get there super early , you have to park across the street at the Shopping Center.
So that morning Jason picked up Kendall from her house and they were on their way to school. As they were halfway there Kendall said " Oh Shoot!"
Jason asked " What did you forget this time , Kendall?"
Kendal replied " Eileen! I forgot to tell you that Eileen needed a ride to school today , and you know that Jens takes Kyla to school and Kyla hates Eileen an-."
Jason stopped her and said " I get it I get it , Good thing you told me now hon , because if we were at school , I sure as heck wouldn't get Eileen."
Kendall kissed Jason on the cheek and said " Thanks babe."
5 minutes later they got Eileen and made their way to school , and they ended up getting a good parking spot!
As they were pulling in their spot , Jens pulled up his car next to Jason's.
Then after they all got out of their cars , Jason & Jens gave each other a high five and Kendall gave her best friend Eileen a big bear hug.
Kyla was standing by herself , in a floral strapless push-up dress , with a red cardigan , red heels & red lipstick. Her hair curled perfectly. Her father always wanted her to look picture perfect because , he thought that his family was a reflection of himself and what he's worked for to earn his wealthy status in this town.
As Kendall chattered to Eileen about how summer went and everything , she didn't pay a bit of attention to Jason who was talking sports and girlfriends with Jens.
Kyla thought of this as thee perfect opportunity to flirt a little w/ Jason.
She winked at him blew him a kiss , Jason pretended like he wasn't looking , but who wouldn't... Kyla Rae Dean was a looker & the prettiest girl in town.
Kendall then said " Jason , I think we should start into the school now because I'm positive the bells gonna ring in like a minute."
Kyla shouted " Oh look , the little nerd actually wants to go to school."
Eileen said " Shut up Kyla! at least she has a bright future with school & Jason.... & YOU DON'T!!."
Then Jason interrupted " Girls , put the claws away. Kendall why don't you and Eileen go in & I'll meet you after I'm done talking w/ Jens."
Kendall sighed " Ok babe , see you soon."
Kendall & Eileen walked into the entrance of the school.
Jason and Jens talked for a few more minutes , then Jens said " J , dude I just remembered I need to meet with coach about football , talk to you later dude." He kissed Kyla and rushed into the school's entrance.
Jason said " So I guess it's just me & you Kyla."
Kyla said " Yea , and you know what I don't believe."
Jason asked " what?"
Kyla said " That noone found out about our little summer fling when Kendall's mom died , and we still have it going.."
Jason said " Yeah ... about that... I am in love with Kendall & I made a mistake..."
Kyla leaned into Jason and started to kiss him.
She was pinned to the hood of his car , they were in a deep kiss.
Kendall & Eileen were walking in the hall when Eileen said " Kendall , I left something for class in Jason's car , is it ok if I get it and meet you at class?" Kendall said " Sure E , I'll see you in class , love ya."
Eileen went through the front entrance bolting to Jason's car , and she couldn't believe what she saw.
Jason & Kyla were partly undressed on top of Jason's truck.
Tears rolled down Eileen's face , she felt pain for her bestfriend Kendall , practically her sister.
She walked into school without her book right as the bell sounded..
